Mission Statement The mission of The Arts Guild of Old Forge, Inc. is to serve the Central Adirondack Community in a culturally sensitive manner reflective of its social, historical, and natural environment values through the arts and humanities ...by promoting the appreciation and study of visual and performing arts and crafts through a year round program which seeks to expand participation and membership;...by offering an expanding and diverse program for personal enrichment and involvement as well as a focal point for artists and performers to develop and share their talents;...by providing a .fiscally-sound Center with necessary facilities and staff;...and in parallel, by fostering awareness of the relationship between art and the Adirondacks. This Mission Statement was adopted by the Board of Directors in 1995. As the Board of Directors develops a long-range plan, it seeks your ideas and suggestions.
